Taissia holds a BA in Finance, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Houston, and began her career in the finance industry in Houston, Texas.

In 2016, Taissia joined the United States Marine Corps, serving for two years in Okinawa, Japan, and later in Yuma, Arizona. She completed her service in 2020 with an honorable discharge, leaving the Marine Corps at the rank of Corporal.

That same year, she pivoted toward her passion for storytelling and began her filmmaking journey at Feirstein. When she's not behind the camera, Taissia can be found in the mosh pit at a music festival, crocheting something cozy, or volunteering with New York Cares.
